The Cabineo 8 M6 is a one-piece cabinet connector that uses drilling or milling processes with pure surfache machining. No need for edge drilling holes for a dowel. Thanks to this feature, machining is possible on all CNC machining centres, including simple 3-axis machines and nesting machines. The one-piece Cabineo press fitted into the hole or milling in the workshop or after transport on site. During assembly, the pre-installed, slightly protruding screw matches the drill hole of the counterpart. A cordless drill and the Cabineo bit are used to screw the screw into the counterpart and connect the workpieces quickly and powerfully. In contrast to the Cabineo 12, a metric screw with thread size M6 is installed in the Cabineo 8 M6 housing instead of a wood screw. The CNC connector is ideal for joining wooden materials with materials such as aluminium, steel or HPL. It is also suitable for high-quality furniture that is designed to be assembled multiple times without wear. The metric screw of the furniture connector anchors directly in a thread cut into the material. A typical application is an open shelf unit with metal frames and wooden shelves. Where the thread cannot be cut directly into the workpiece, a Cabineo threaded sleeve pressed into the material is a good alternative. If a continuous Cabineo threaded sleeve is installed in a dividing panel, shelves with an integrated Cabineo 8 M6 can be attached to both sides of the dividing panel. This enables a very high clamping force, increased strength and repeated wear-free assembly and disassembly of the furniture. Compared to a cam connector, the Cabineo impresses with its more efficient processing and faster assembly and is also distinguished by a high clamping force achieved without the need for additional wooden dowels. The Cabineo offers considerable advantages in the manufacturing, transport and assembly process. This means that the connector can even be securely mounted in the workpieces during the production process, which in turn can be stacked as flat packs for transport, without protruding parts that could damage the workpieces. This also eliminates the fabrication and the additional logistical outlay involved in a separate hardware bag. There are no loose parts of fittings that need to be installed during the final assembly. Depending on the colour of the material used, the white or black housing colour may be more suitable. If the Cabineo is to be hidden, cover caps are available in different colours.
The Cabineo offers three installation options:
