A restored gem: the Volkswagen camper

CNC Rosenheim develops creative solutions in the field of CNC machining
The company specialises in complex projects involving a wide range of materials and processes them using a 5-axis CNC machine. Here we present one of its most unusual projects: the true-to-original restoration of a legendary bus, the Volkswagen T1 Samba camper van. Some impressive features of the conversion include a 2-zone wine cooler with wine type recognition and bottle cooling in just six minutes, a refrigerator, a fly-fishing holder, a 300 Ah lithium battery, a 2,600 W inverter, a bathroom sink, fresh and waste water connections, a table and much more. Lamello's joining solutions, including the detachable Clamex P-14 connector and the Cabineo 12 CNC cabinet connector, were used for the assembly.
