Combining the Cabineo 8 M6 with blind rivet nuts
In the carpentry trade, the challenge of combining new materials and utilising the advantages of those materials both visually and structurally is becoming increasingly common. For example, a press-in blind rivet nut in combination with the Cabineo 8 M6 is recommended so that the high clamping force of the connector can be used and the connecting screw can be optimally anchored in the profile.
How it works
  • Mill or drill for the Cabineo 8 M6 on the CNC machining centre.

  • Apply the Cabineo 8 M6 and tap into place.

  • Drill the aluminium profile according to the specifications of the blind rivet nut manufacturer.

  • Select the M6 blind rivet nut and apply the blind rivet nut pliers.

  • Press in the blind rivet nut. Use a countersunk rivet head nut for a flush result.

  • Align the workpiece on the blind rivet nut and screw on.
