Installing thin fronts with the Tenso P-10

Furniture fronts made of thin materials such as HPL or CDF are becoming increasingly popular in furniture construction, as they are considered to be light and egant. However, this poses new challenges in assembly. These include connecting a thin fitted panel to the cabinet or connecting a thin divider to a drawer. We will show how it can be done!

How it works

Position the angle stop and set to half the material thickness.
Mill into the edge of the drawer side with depth setting 12.
Attach the P-System 4 mm depth adjuster cap. The effective milling depth is then 8 mm.
At the half material thickness set, add the planned protrusion of the double and tighten.
Perform milling in the surface. A second angle stop may be used for improved stability.
Slide in the Tenso P-10 connector halves without springs into the surface milling.
Slide in the Tenso P-10 connector halves with springs into the 12 mm deep profile groove.
Use the push-in tool to fit the preload clip onto the spring part.
Apply glue and press the joint together. Done!
