The Invis Mx2 is a unique, magnet-driven furniture connector for the highest demands in terms of aesthetics, stability and productivity. With no visible openings, the Invis Mx2 is quickly connected and disconnected via its magnet drive. The rotating MiniMag tool drives the screw inside the connector contactlessly and invisibly. The connector set requires two Ø 12 mm holes in both workpieces for preparation. A stationary drilling machine, a CNC machining centre or the Rasto drilling jig supplied in the starter set can be used for these holes. It is important for the holes to be drilled with the necessary precision. The scope of delivery includes an insertion jig for the vertical screwing in of the insertion nut. The Invis Mx2 connector is screwed in without an insertion jig and automatically aligns itself vertically due to its length. The MiniMag and a cordless drill close the joint and apply a joint clamping force of up to 250 kg per connector. To achieve this high clamping force, the magnet-driven connector must be installed as close to the panel surface as possible. The distance from the outer edge to the centre of the connector must not exceed 15 mm. The detachable furniture connector opens when the direction of rotation on the cordless drill is changed. The connector is ideal if clamps or other clamping aids would leave marks on components with a high-gloss finish or would slip off moulded workpieces. The Invis Mx2 is also used to secure access flaps or to screw the last workpiece of a larger piece of furniture in an invisible manner.
