The Top21 is a biscuit joiner with an adjustable cutter from the inventor of the Lamello system and mills a precise 4 mm groove for wood joining. The tried-and-tested and well-designed biscuit joiner is fast and versatile to use and is the basis for the wide range of connectors with fixed, self-clamping and detachable connectors. The Lamello system is an extremely efficient and precisely connector joining system for panels and enables the production of furniture joints and mitres in all angles. Like all biscuit joiners from Lamello, the Top21 is also characterised by precisely machined aluminium components, which enable precise application on the workpiece and result in perfect accuracy of fit. Unlike any other biscuit joiner on the market, the Top21 has a unique cutter height adjustment. To this end, the biscuit joiner has a rotary knob which can be used to adjust the cutter position up or down by 2 mm in steps of 0.1 mm. This function makes it possible, for example, to make a central groove in a 19 mm thick panel (9.5 mm on both sides) instead of positioning it off-centre (8 mm or 11 mm). Another application of the biscuit joiner is the simple machining of joints with protruding or recessed edges. If a corner connection is made of coated chipboard, the side is recessed around the rounded edge so that the chipboard layer on the edge is not visible. This recess is possible in an instant with the Top21 by adjusting the groove position. The machining adjustment is also an advantage when cutting expansion gaps on wooden panelling for ceilings or laminate floors, as it can adjust the resulting joint.
