The Tenso P-14 is a self-clamping connector for gluing wood composites and is anchored in the positive-locking P-System groove in the workpiece in a matter of seconds. The Tenso P-14 consists of a connector half with powerful tension springs. These anchor in the counterpart and generate high pressure on the joint. This high clamping force allows the user to glue furniture parts or wood composites without clamps, protectors, tape or presses. The Tenso presses the joints together at the correct angle, always perpendicular to the cutting angle of the two workpieces. The Tenso P-14 enables the user to glue workpieces extremely quickly with time savings throughout the entire manufacturing process: efficiency in the milling of the P-System groove, inserting the connectors by hand and without glue or screws, and in the glue application and subsequent joining of the workpieces. Waiting times are completely eliminated and an assembled workpiece can be further processed straight away or made available for shipping. The Tenso P-14 is completely concealed so workpieces can be produced with perfect aesthetics without visible joints. As with the proven Lamello system, the connector can be used for almost any connection angle. This means that obtuse, acute or flat angles can also be connected, which is why the connector is often used as a gluing aid for difficult-to-clamp workpieces. The preload clip is optionally used when mitres are glued or, in the case of larger components, when several connectors must be assembled simultaneously in a row. The preload clip increases the lateral tolerance during assembly and reduces the force required to connect the Tenso P-14.
