Lamello: the benchmark for joining

Lamello: Mr. Marie, why have you adopted Lamello joining systems on a day-to-day basis?

To kick off our tour of France, we had the pleasure of meeting Mr Bruno Marie and visiting his workshop, which is located in Normandy in the town of Houlgate, renowned for its typical "Belle Epoque" seaside architecture. Mr. Marie is a former "Compagnon du Devoir" (French association of craftsmen), and he founded the Marie joinery in 2003. He currently has 7 people working for him, including 3 other "Compagnons de Devoir" and 2 apprentices. It is a family-owned company that invested in digital about 8 years ago in order to specialise almost exclusively in manufacturing.
Around 90% of the Marie Company's business is subcontracting from large joineries, companies/groups and large fitters all over France. With its CNC equipment, the company has made the strategic choice to focus on production. "We have two digitally controlled machining centres - a 5-axis Rover A machine and a vertical Brema made by Biesse. Data is tranferred via the Biesse 3D CAD/CAM software, B_SOLID. Our workshop is capable of answering all kinds of requests (kitchens, fitted wardrobes, furniture, interior design, etc.)" says Bruno Marie. "Our strength is our responsiveness and our flexibility. That's what keeps us competitive in our field today."
For us, Lamello has become the benchmark for joining. These assembly solutions allow us to keep up with the changing needs of fitters and remain competitive
