The Classic X cordless biscuit joiner from the inventor of the Lamello system cuts a precise 4 mm groove for wood joining. The tried-and-tested and well-designed biscuit joiner is fast and versatile to use and the basis for the wide range of connectors with fixed, self-clamping and detachable connectors. The Classic X cordless is characterised by its precisely machined aluminium components. The milled stop surfaces on the base plate, on the swivel front stop and on the stop square enable precise contact with the workpiece. The precise interaction between the moving parts during machining results in precise, parallel grooves to ensure perfect accuracy of fit of the workpieces. However, the highlight of the Lamello groove cutter is the multifunctional stop square. It is pushed onto the base plate for the safe handling of the machine when milling into the surface. It is also used to precisely adjust the groove position by 0–50 mm or to achieve even greater precision when creating mitres by placing it on the outer surface of the furniture. The advantages of the Classic X cordless compared to the mains-operated biscuit joiner lie in the short set-up time and the increased mobility in the workshop and on the construction site. The machine is stored within easy reach in a case and is immediately ready for use without having to connect power sockets, cable reels or extraction devices first. Larger workpieces in the workshop can be processed on all sides without having to lay a cable or causing tripping hazards. The cordless biscuit joiner, which is powered by powerful 4.0 Ah batteries from the CAS network, also impresses on the construction site. Working without a power connection or the need to carry extraction equipment simplifies work on site.
