Digitalisation presents the woodworking industry with major challenges. Whether in an industrial company or for a sole trader - the potential of successfully implemented digital transformation within the value chain is enormous. A successful example of this realised potential is the cabinet making business Holzvision - Füreder from Upper Austria. In our conversation, Managing Director Wolfgang Füreder explains the advantages of his digital workshop and the role played by the Cabineo cabinet connector from Lamello.

Founded by his father in 1979, Wolfgang Füreder runs the business in its second generation. In his father's company, Füreder learned the cabinet making trade in depth and encountered Lamello biscuit joiners and the original wooden biscuits for the first time. "I took on a lot of responsibility from a young age," explains Wolfgang Füreder. Alongside his woodworking profession, multi-talented Füreder is studying architecture. His impressive repertoire is rounded off by a successfully completed degree in business administration.

Holzvision – Füreder is active in the commercial sector and offers all sorts of residential furnishings. The carpentry company focuses on intellectual performance and individual design. From bespoke kitchens to complex interiors, Holzvision delivers quality at the highest level. "We are very creative and produce projects that are extremely demanding and difficult to accomplish. Customised production is a key sales promise for us," says Füreder. He adds: "We prefer not to keep reproducing variants of the same product. Unlike large furniture stores, we know our customers personally and help them in the realisation of their specific wishes."

If you want to produce modern products as a cabinetmaker, there is no way around Cabineo in my view.
