Product description

The Tenso P-10 is a self-clamping connector for gluing wood composites and is anchored to the workpiece in seconds with the Zeta P2 biscuit joiner. The Tenso P-10 consists of a connector half with powerful tension springs. These anchor in the counterpart and generate high pressure on the joint. This high clamping force allows the user to glue furniture parts or wood composites without clamps, protectors, tape or presses. Compared to the larger Tenso P-14, the Tenso P-10 has a lower milling depth of only 10 mm, enabling the user to make use of the many advantages of the Tenso P connector even in thinner materials. These advantages include the extremely fast gluing of workpieces, which saves time throughout the entire manufacturing process. There is no waiting time as a finished piece of furniture can be further processed straight away or made available for shipping. The Tenso P-10 is completely concealed and can be used for almost any connection angle. This means that obtuse, acute or flat angles can also be connected. Compared to the Tenso P-14, the Tenso P-10 is stiffer due to its smaller design and requires more force when joining. However, the clamping force with which the workpieces are then clamped is almost identical. Since a higher force is required for the connection, the preload clip is included in the scope of delivery of the Tenso P-10. It is inserted shortly before assembly so that the spring is preloaded and the required force is reduced. In addition, the preload clip used increases the lateral tolerance, which simplifies the assembly of larger components with several connectors in a row.

Applications:

  • Self-clamping connector for gluing in kitchen manufacturing, furniture construction or interior fitting
  • Difficult-to-clamp joints, such as in counters or wall panels in interior fitting
  • Gluing of pillar cladding, bathroom furniture, sideboards, small shelves, door frames, cladding, false edges, ornate frames
  • Furniture with 5-sided mitre connections
  • More complex furniture can be glued and assembled piece by piece instead of applying glue to all workpieces and clamping the furniture under tight time constraints
  • Dry joints before gluing with the Bisco P-10
  • Butt joints from a material thickness of 12 mm
  • Mitre connections from a material thickness of 16 mm
